I just had to share this photo diptych in case you didn't see it on Flickr. I had looked through Valcox's photostream and found the photo of her father at the lake. I knew that I had just taken a shot of an old pic of my dad at the lake in his lifeguard days when I was visiting family in June. It seemed pretty profound to put the two together in honor of our fathers. It seemed like a pretty awesome connection to both have handsome, fun-loving fathers. And right now, it is the most viewed photo in my photostream.

I love seeing these pairings. It seems like a small world when you see things that someone else has done so far away that like up so nicely with what you've done. And having it span generations is unbelievable.
