nature unfurling

I have spent most of my weekend, immersing myself in learning photoshop for editing my photos. I feel like I am learning a new language and stretching my brain cells. We took a wonderful break from this with a walk at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. The ferns were all gracefully unfurling!

I tried a little photoshop on my last computer and it didn't go so well. I think that computer just didn't have the memory available as everything took so blasted long. My new mac probably could handle it but of course, now I don't have a mac version of the software. Ah well.

Love this fern shot. It's my favorite stage for ferns.
